Being a registered Florida sex offender has not kept a Kentucky college from giving a football scholarship to a man accused of attempted battery, attempted rape and promoting sexual performance by a child. http://www.local6.com He admitted in court to photographing the sexual assault.
An Illinois psychologist acted more like the “Wicked Witch of the West” than Sigmund Freud, according to three former patients who are suing the hospital, saying they received treatment that included witchcraft, sexual advances, and threats of violence. http://www.courttv.com

MSNBC reports that the national databases used for criminal background checks on everyone from teachers to little league coaches have an error rate as high as 41%. http://www.msnbc.msn.com Only 70% of criminal convictions end up in the databases. Additionally, despite claims of being “national”, federal convictions, which include convictions for Internet child pornography, are stored in a separate database.
