Sexual aggression in kids again linked to pornography
Yet another study shows an increase in sexually aggressive behavior and access to pornography. [CLICK HERE] Almost all of the sexually aggressive children had access to the internet and over 90% admitted seeing sexually explicit material online. The other common thread-the almost absolute lack of online supervision. Pornography is usually the first lure of pedophile to attract children. For information on how to protect your children from online dangers, visit the Parent's Guide to the Internet, [CLICK HERE], and the online section of SAVE's Child Protection Guide, [CLICK HERE],

In other news…
According to BBC, Great Britain has considering a "gun amnesty type" program for internet pedophiles who trade in their hard drives for counseling. [CLICK HERE]. They would still have to be cleared by a psychologist and would be placed on sex offender registries.

Tuesday night, PBS has a film, "Downpour Resurfacing", [CLICK HERE] about poet and therapist Robert Hall's experience being abducted and sexually abused at the age of 4. Memories Hall had repressed until age 32. He is now 66. Needless to say, this is not a film meant for children.

Sympathetic movies about pedophiles seem all the rage in Hollywood. The Woodsman is doing well at the Sundance Film Festival, but may not play in Peoria. [CLICK HERE]. Variety magazine has changed its mind and refused to carry a "pedophile warning" ad prepared by Dr. Judith Reisman and funded by Dr. Laura Schlessinger about the movie "The Kinsey Report" scheduled to open in May. [CLICK HERE] These two come after the fall movie, "Capturing the Friedmans" was named the second best movie of the year by MSN's entertainment guide. [CLICK HERE] The Friedmans pleaded guilty to abusing 13 boys taking computer classes in their Long Island home.

A Johnston, Pa man was convicted of raping and sodomizing a six-month-old boy while giving him a bath. His defense--he may have broken the baby's skull while being rough with him while bathing him, but someone else could have done it when he and the boy's mother left the baby home alone around midnight to go buy heroin.
