The movie, set in ancient Greece, reflects, according to Stone “a more honest time” (sexually) where “young boys were with boys when they wanted to be.” http://www.sky.com

Faith based group attacks child sex tourism...
World Vision has teamed up with the State Department and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to catch Americans who travel abroad to sexually abuse children. http://www.family.org The Child Sex Tourism Prevention Project aims to find the abusers and prosecute. An Amber alert resulted in the successful apprehension of a Louisville man and two of his young daughters in Ohio. http://www.middletownjournal.com The Amber Alert was issued after police went to serve the man with a warrant on rape and sodomy charges and found his dead 5-year-old daughter in his home.

A Utah Sheriff’s department is now requiring its officers to document pornography found at the scenes of sex crimes because of evidence that pornography and crime are linked. http://www.family.org According to the department, “We're starting to see a similar thread with the pornography in the relation to sex crimes."

A controversial field of research is seeking to alter, or possibly erase, the impact of painful memories - a concept dubbed "therapeutic forgetting." http://www.msnbc.msn.com The concept of erasing memory by taking pills strikes us as having the potential for providing child date rape drugs.
A California Judge last week refused a defense request to throw out the child molestation case against Michael Jackson. http://www.foxnews.com Jackson’s trial is expected to begin in January.
