Sex, lies and videotape...
A movie about the life of pedophile chronicler Alfred Kinsey, which glosses over the fact that much of his research was conducted by pedophiles abusing hundreds if not thousands of children, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (http://www.tiffg.ca/) last week. The sympathetic portrayal of Kinsey has drawn the wrath of Dr Laura Schlessinger and Dr. Judith Reisman, who first detailed Kinsey’s relationship with pedophiles. This is the argument used by most child molesters, who truly believe that children “enjoy” being sexually abused.

More “Hollywierd”...
In addition to “Kinsey”, other new Hollywierd releases include “Birth”, a film in which Nicole Kidman has a relationship with a ten year old boy http://msnbc.msn.com, and “The Woodsman” in which Kevin Bacon gives a sympathetic portrayal of a convicted child molester (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com). This comes as groups like the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force begin to work to repeal age of consent laws. http://www.thetaskforce.org

More “wacko Jacko”...

In other news...
Mary Kay Letourneau, the teacher who went to prison for having an affair with a 12-year-old student, has apparently renewed her affair with the now 21-year-old student. http://www.cbsnews.com The couple reportedly plans to marry and to seek custody of their two children which Letourneau had in prison.

A federal judge has upheld a Michigan law that imposes criminal liability on those who knowingly disseminate or distribute sexually explicit material that is harmful to minors. http://www.michigan.gov
