Amazon.com pulls NAMBLA books
After our eNewsletter the last few weeks, and thanks to the over 5,000 of you who once again emailed Amazon.com President Jeff Bazos, Amazon.com has removed two publications of the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) from its online catalog. One book, Witchhunt Foiled: The FBI vs. NAMBLA is still listed in the catalogue but is out of print. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/104-9138008-0886347)

Not only Priests
The Chief of Police in Seat Pleasant, MD, just outside of Washington, D.C., has been arrested for abusing a boy (12 at the time) who participated in the Chief's Junior Police program. The purpose of the Junior Police Program was to build "character development and values." (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A3104-2003Sep26.html)

ACLU takes Kansas "gay rights" case
The American Civil Liberties Union is getting involved in a Kansas case attempting to overturn the prison sentence of an 18 year old boy convicted of having his third sexual relationship with a child, this one a 14 year old boy. The ACLU says the sentence is much stiffer than it would have been had the child been a girl. A better question might be how someone who had only been 18 less than a year managed to get convicted three different times. (http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/9/222003f.asp)

President condemns sex trade
In President Bush's address to United Nations last Thursday, the President shocked the delegates with his comments on the world sex trade. 800,000 women and children are sold into sexual slavery every year. The Bush Administration has declared war on sex tours and travel industry which takes visitors to the Far East for sex with children. Operators and patrons face up to 30 years in prison if convicted of illegal activity. (http://www.family.org/cforum/fnif/news/a0028073.cfm)
